Fond memories

Guess what ! It had been a very long time since I had a look at all those stuffs which I had collected during my school and college days. Was indeed happy that I had safely preserved every single piece .Slam books with lovely wordings of my friends, teachers & lecturers, friendship bands, birthday & new year cards, tiny perfume bottles, wrist watches, record books, peacock feathers, bracelets and finger rings, coin book , stamps collected from the postmaster, movie stars posters which I secretly got from college library magazines smile emoticon ...It took me back for a while , made me recollect those days ! Remembered everyone of them and memories associated with the presents smile emoticon . Words written on the cards seemed so pleasant, empty perfume bottles still maintained the aroma, watches had lost its time , books retained the feathers, posters reminded me the exact place from where I got them hiding ,days when I used to wait near the gate for the postmaster…..! uffff , a suitcase full of treasure & most of them from my school days smile emoticon Such a long time ! Thanks to my friends, teachers, cousins and relatives .U made me feel the true meaning of nostalgia .These are worth preserving smile emoticon Tagging each one of u through my words smile emoticon Thanks again ! Cheers to life smile emoticon Love u all smile emoticon

Mr.Shy

The moment I passed near him,he took out his long neck and started staring. The Red and green skin combination attracted me.His shell was very different from the rest.I didn't want to walk away without capturing.Guess flash might hv disturbed him.He slowly sinked his neck in closed his eyes.I moved thinking that he was not interested. After few steps,I turned back and saw him looking at me smile emoticon He was a shy guy. Glad to meet u Mr.Turtle.

A 15 minute walk :)

A 15 minute walk :)
It rained heavily in Bangalore yesterday.I mean really heavy.Roads were flooded with water for 2-3 feet . It was irritating to drive back home from office and tiring too.So i decided to travel through public transport the next day..It takes 15 min to walk to my office from Majestic bus station. It was a cool morning due to rain.Majestic is the major bus station in Bangalore and one of the most crowded area.

The moment i got down the bus, i could feel something new, something which i hadn't experienced since a long time.I felt lighter :) I started to walk towards my office.People are so busy in the city and i could feel it ! Small shops, milk parlors, bakeries, electronic stores, bag store, shoe stores had just opened.Shop owners were tasting their morning coffee.I could feel the coffee aroma in the stalls, samosas were hot and smelling good, flower vendors with fresh flowers were smiling at me with full charm. As i moved further, i could find some crazy movie fans in queue for tickets, vegetable vendors with greenery around, bells from the temples were clearly audible with idols in their best attire to showcase devotees. :)

That 15 min walk was so damn good to visualize all normal routines that follow in the busy street of Bangalore .Thanks to the weather :) What i always believed seemed true again ! The experience of a small walk gives immense happiness ; in our own city or any other :)

Lift

Lift ! No.I'm not referring to a verb neither weighting lifting but a noun ,you guessed it right, the elevator .The vertical transport equipment that efficiently moves people or goods between floors of a building. Not a great topic to write but i found something interesting !
Be it in office or any other buildings,we all have experienced ourselves in lifts in our day to day life.
So, what is so interesting to write about it ? When ever we enter into a lift ,there are different kinds or categories of people in it.Few known & few unknown,of different age group and gender.I used to always wonder what might be running in their mind until they walk out of it.I usually keep staring at everyone in the lift and keep guessing about their thoughts. Most of them keep looking at the arrow mark right from the beginning till the end, few keep staring at others looking at their attire , few try to read the same posters or warning messages on the wall everyday ! and others look at each others foot wears and accessories etc,,,,,even if we meet a friend, we may hesitate to talk to them since we would be accompanied by strangers around.I have also come across ladies comparing each other right from hair style to sandals !We come across some funny incidents too like overloading; when the last person entering the lift would feel so embarrassed that even though he is lean, he would be forced to stand out and wait, pressing the wrong buttons in hurry and sometimes going out thinking that was the floor we opted for and again getting back. Also we might have thought "What if the lift stops suddenly ?" & laughed within.
But that 2-3 minutes of time spent in the lift is so interesting since we are out of every normal routine that we perform and various kinds of thoughts run in each and every individual's mind depending on the age group. Those thoughts would be so different from our normal thoughts that run in our mind even when we are alone.I tried to talk to few people after getting out of the lift and asked them what was it that was in their mind and most of them answered that they were thinking about the next scenario that they would come across ; be it their work, home or the person they would meet later or their daily to do's....
Those few minutes of silence , those special thoughts, those eye contacts with each other was something that made me write ....Well , next time when you are into the lift, do let me know your thoughts as well .. happy lifting wink emoticon
